Painting the song birds has always be fun for me and it's easy to see it's a favorite subject for wildlife art lovers. With that, it seems the little Gold Finch has always been a "show stopper" every time I hang one on my display. It's not only one of the most popular for bird and art lovers, but also a fun challenge to paint, especially using this WPA technique.
